BRAVE

Two Saturdays ago I took Hadley to go see the new Disney film, Brave. It's about a little Scottish princess who wants to change her fate. We went as a reward for sleeping in her bed ALL week. Her new bed has been exactly what we needed. :) The first week she snuck in our room twice. But she hasn't been in there since. Teagan has slept with her a few times as well, but more on that later.

Anyhow, the movie was cute. I loved Merida because she's a good example that not all girls are "girly." I just wish Disney would come up with a main female character that is not a princess. There were a several extensive scary parts. Another wish I have for Disney. I understand the need for conflict, but there were several pretty dark moments. Hadley said she liked the movie even though it was a little scary. I think she also enjoyed getting a giant slush, candy, and popcorn. We spent more on food than on the movie tickets!
