Forest Park Mini Train

We finally got to ride the mini train today! Hadley was already excited but she was ecstatic when I told her that Megan was going to come with us. Her day got even better when Megan got to come over and play before we left for the train. The girls had a great time together, as usual. Jenni was trying her best to get a decent picture of them on the train so I told Hadley to put her arm around Megan. Of course, Hadley chose this exact moment to be awkward and scoot away. Megan looked and Hadley and said, "But you're my best friend!?!" It was so stickin' adorable!

The train ride was about 45 minutes. The weather was perfect, around 70 with a nice breeze. I had Teagan in the Baby Bjorn and she absolutely loved looking out and watching Megan and Hadley bounce around.

We headed home and I stopped at Wendy's for lunch (because I like to feed my kid nutritious food, ha) and by time I pulled in the garage both girls were passed out. Getting Hadley to nap these days is more trouble than it's worth, so I am currently eating my lunch and blogging while they sleep. Hey, you've gotta get your quiet time when you can, even if it means sitting in the garage!
