Dickens Christmas in McKinney

We had a great Thanksgiving in Allen/McKinney last week. We had lunch at Debbie's house (Jessie's mother-in-law), then the guys and my mom watched the football game while Jessie and I went to go see Harry Potter. After the movie we came come for a bit and then we were out again to start our Black Friday shopping that actually begin Thursday night at 10pm.

The shopping was crazy! We got some good deals, but I have officially retired as a black Friday shopper. The most I'll do is go to the outlet mall when they open at 10pm on thanksgiving night.

Jessie and I didn't make it back until 4:30 am, so we slept for a few hours and then headed to the Dickens Christmas in downtown McKinney. They had train rides, face painting, reindeer, and fair food. All the kids had a blast and I loved that it was just a small location that wasn't packed with tons of people. This was one of my favorite thanksgivings ever!
