It is finally warming up around here, so we took ourselves down to Merrick park to enjoy the beautiful day. It actually ended up being a little windy, but it was still a big improvement on the weather we've been having.
Hadley, of course, had a fabulous time. She went on every single slide over and over again. It's so amazing to watch your baby turn into a little girl. When she was an infant I used to wish she would never grow up. I was clearly completely unaware of how much fun this age would be. She is just such a spunky little kid. She literally makes us laugh every single day. I know we indulge her more than we should, but seriously, how can you can no to that face? Especially when she lays her head on your lap, smiles her sweetest smile, and says, "Pwwweeeeeeeeeeeeeeease, mommy?" She has both of us completely wrapped around her fingers. (Along with her teachers at school, who report that she gets away with all sorts of things for the same reason!) And you know what? She should be spoiled. If I can make her as happy as she makes me, that is all that matters.
