We had such a fun, busy weekend that I was in bed by 8ish last night and asleep by 9ish. Saturday was Neil's Christmas party for work which we followed up with martinis at what used to be called Bar Ten, not sure what they changed the name to because we still call it Bar Ten. My sister had her work party in Southlake so she dropped her girls off at our house and mom watched all the kids. Everyone stayed overnight and we got up Sunday to have our family Christmas. My step-dad dressed up as Santa and came to visit the girls early. :)
Hadley really loved tearing the paper off of her presents and playing with her cousins' toys. She liked her toys too but it was pretty funny watching her kiss Sydney's Baby Alive (who she named Hadley, haha). Once everybody went home she had a BLAST playing with all her new stuff.
The best part of the weekend: Hadley took TWO steps! My mom said she saw her take one step earlier but I missed it. She was standing next to the ottoman chewing on a teething ring. She's been standing without holding onto anything for the last few weeks; she eventually realizes that she's not holding on to something and sits down. So, she looks at me, step one, step two and then sits down!! So cool :)
Neil and I also got iPhones, hehe. Our friend Cortni put it best, the experience was seriously like buying a car. We were there for two hours trying to sort everything out. In the end I had to get a new phone number so please contact me if you do not have it. (I sent a text out but I know that I missed some people).

WooHoo! Go Hadley! Yay on the first steps. That's so exciting! These girls are just growing up much too fast for me. I keep telling Calli that I need her to stay little just a little bit longer. I'm not ready for her to become a toddler!
