Merry Christmas!

Well we've been having a really great time in England. Hadley slept most of the first flight to London and then was really happy for the flight from London to Manchester. If we go that way again we will probably just take the flight to London and stay the night there and take a train the next day. The 3-4 hour layover was not fun (should have been less but there were delays).

Her first night was a little troubled but not bad and then after that she adjusted right away. The weather has been surprisingly pleasant here. Staying in the 40's and low 50's and not too much rain! I think it's been colder in Dallas a few days at least.

Hadley has taken FIVE whole steps. She only does it when she doesn't realize. If you stand her up and make a big deal about it she will just sit down. So any time she starts to walk we just have to watch from the corner of our eyes and whisper to get each other's attention! She's had a blast playing with her cousins. She absolutely adores Ben, always trying to hug and kiss him.

We've done lots of shopping, had a day trip to Manchester, and visits with family and friends. Now to the good stuff, Christmas day! Hadley was the first to wake up, of course. Once we all got downstairs she had great fun pulling bows and tearing paper. She of course did not really grasp what was going on but had a blast none the less. She did know something was different because she went down for her nap 2 hours later then usual and she needed a little convincing at that.

We've got a busy week with family and friends. Monday and Tuesday Neil and I are going to London, childless! Nana and Grandad are going to watch Hadley and we are going to go on our first trip away from Hadley, which is why it is so short. :)

Here are a few pictures from her 1st Christmas. (P.S. Santa didn't bring her 2 front teeth but she did get 1! It popped up a few days ago, she has a top tooth on the left!!)
