Sleepy Sleeperston

So Hadley is sleeping as I type, yay for the little things. Last night she ate at 9 pm and went to bed around 10ish. She slept until 3 a.m. without waking up (YAY), then I gave her a pacifier and she slept for another 2 hours until 5 a.m. That's the longest she's ever gone. I think we're trending to her sleeping through the night over the next few weeks!!

The next big step will be getting her to sleep in her room, in her crib. This is not just a big step for Hadley, but a big step for me. I love having her next to me, being able to just peek over in her bassinet to see that she's still breathing is so comforting.

I put away some clothes that she has grown out of last week. She can still get into some 0-3 months but 3-6 months are fitting her nicely as well. I can't believe how much she has grown, matured, and changed over the last 12 weeks. It's so exciting to watch her play on her own now. She smiles so big at Neil and me, her eyes brighten when she hears or sees us. It's a really great feeling to look at your daughter and know that she loves you back!

She's been rolling onto her side (not her back yet) for the past few weeks and can scoot herself all over her playmat. She's knows exactly what she wants and has become an expert at letting us know what that is. She has different cries for everything and while she used to cry over just about everything, now she's so tolerant of day to day activities - it makes life much easier (and quieter) for mom and dad. She will "talk" to us as if in conversation, cooing and hooing and haaing.

She LOVES morning time and is in such a good mood when she wakes up. She will stretch her arms out, rub her little eyes and then shoot me the biggest grin of the day. She snorts, grunts and gurgles at us quite often and she recently began blowing bubbles out of all the drool that escapes from her mouth. It's so much fun spending my day with her, I'm so lucky to have this opportunity. I love being a mom!

Anyhoo, there's a little perspective from the Rollins-Rose soon to be just Rollins house :)

Here's a picture Neil took of our little sleepy girl:
