Life has just begun

As most of you already know, our little girl has finally made her appearance. Hadley Alice Rollins was born on February 27, 2008 at 6:13 p.m. She was a whopping 9 pounds 14 ounces and 20 inches long. Labor was intense and everyone was surprised at her size, which was predicted to be about 7 to 7 1/2 pounds.

I'll try to post her birth story later this week when I'm a little more rested. We are settling in to our new life as mom and dad. Being a parent is the most amazing experience that can only be described as pure joy. Hearing our daughter's first cry is a sound that we will never forget and will cherish every day.
