I took Hadley to her 2 week check-up today. She is now 9 lbs 15 oz. which is excellent. She weighed 9 lbs 6 oz. 8 days ago so she has gained more then 1 oz. per day. She was 21 1/2 inches long, so they must have measured her wrong at birth (20 inches). She had to have her heel pricked for a newborn screening test, for genetic testing, which she did not appreciate. Her doctor says she is great health, a good little eater and we won't have to come back for 6 weeks at her 2 month check up. YAY for Hadley.
We met Daddy for lunch and to buy a new glider so we can rock our little sharky to sleep. Here it is:
