Hadley has been planning her 4th birthday party literally since we were driving home from her 3rd birthday party. She is birthday obsessed. I cannot tell you how many pretend birthdays she has had for herself, Teagan, me, her dolls, her bears, etc. She was very clear about what she wanted: A jump party!
When is came to the theme, she originally requested rainbows and dinosaurs. She wanted to add princesses, but when I explained that rainbows, dinosaurs, AND princesses would be too much, she narrowed it down to rainbows and princesses. I wish I could take credit for planning the party, but the kid has her own ideas about how things should go. She was very clear about her cake (although the rainbow batter was a surprise), plates, table cloths, etc. I just put it all together for her.
Half way through the day, she looked at me with the biggest grin and said, "Mommy, this is the best day ever!!!" I think it is safe to say that she was very pleased with her birthday celebration.

I showed Jules the pics of the cake and she loved them! She wanted to look through the pictures over and over. :)
