Teagan's 1st Zoo Trip

Hadley is in Zoo Camp at the Fort Worth Zoo this week in the afternoons. She's in the "Up High Down Low" class, where they learn all about animals that are high and low (hence the name). Yesterday was her first day and she was literally the most excited I've ever seen her. She loved it! I was nervous because she was in a new place, but she had one of her BFFs, Calli, with her so she did great.

So today Erin and I decided to take our littles to the zoo while the girls were at camp from 1-4. I wasn't sure how'd Teagan would do; honestly I thought she wouldn't really notice much. But she definitely noticed the gorillas, the flamingos, the fish, and these little red birds (not sure what they were). She would try to reach out and grab them and would try to "talk" and reach out. It was really sweet. Best of all, she was really happy to see Declan. I'm pretty sure she tried to grab his hand at one point. Anytime he was out of the stroller, she had to be out.

Anyway, this zoo camp is already wearing me out! Tomorrow I'll have to do a whole lot of nothing to make up for the 3 hours of walking in 100 degree heat.
