Nap Mat

Hadley is obsessed with her new nap mat. She takes it everywhere. When she crawled in our bed at 5:30AM this morning she spent a good 5-10 minutes trying to lay it out in between us. Joy.

In other news, I have 1 1/2 more weeks of work and than I am done! It's bittersweet though, because this means we're losing Bonnie (our nanny). We knew it was only temporary, but it's still sad. The good news is that she'll still be our sitter for date nights, etc. And we'll still see her the last 2 weekends in May because Neil and I are going to Vegas (YAY!!) and then the next weekend we have a wedding to attend. So at least it won't be an abrupt change for the girls.

In the mean time, the girls started a Children's Day Out program on Tues/Thurs for 5 hours a day. (Hence the new nap mat). Teagan went here earlier this year and both girls have gone for Parents Night Out. I've been on the waiting list hoping that a spot would open up and I got my wish. The only drawback is that they had to start this week or I would have lost their spots. So we're paying a lot of daycare costs this month. :/ The good part is that this will allow us to transition the girls into their new school.

We have a relaxing summer ahead. I hope to spend the next few months taking the girls on play dates, swimming at Erin's house, hanging out with my besties, and doing a whole lot of nothing. We also have a trip to England and Italy planned for the end of July. (And who knows, maybe I can talk Neil into a family getaway to Scotland while we're there!...Too much? Nah!) Hadley's going to Zoo Camp for a week in June and Soccer Camp for a week in August. And Teagan turns 1 in June...that makes me want to cry.

Anyway, come on summer!
