Hadley's 3rd Birthday Party

Hadley's 3rd birthday party was a success! We had her birthday party at Emler Swim School on her actual birthday. Before her birthday we counted down every night, 3 more sleeps until your birthday, etc. so she was very excited. She had so many friends there with her and she absolutely loved being the center of attention.

The theme was "Under the Sea." She had a mermaid cake, mermaid invites, floating fish in the pool, treasure box favors, etc. The funniest part of the day was when we were cutting up her birthday cake. She said she wanted the mermaid, which was pretty much her entire cake. I asked her if she wanted the head or the tail. She sat silently for a long minute and after much deliberation, she said, "Ummmmm....the boobies!!" That's my girl. :)

She was also surprised by the big balloon display. One of the Dallas Cowboys had the party before ours for his son. They had a designer come in and they asked if they could leave the balloons behind for our party. Since we weren't responsible for breaking it down I was all for it.

Hadley had an amazing birthday party. Although it is always difficult to watch your baby start turning into a little girl, I am so excited for all the new experiences that are coming her way. This birthday definitely made an impression on her...she is already planning her 4th birthday party, seriously. Here are some pictures from the day:
