Since Hadley's 2nd birthday is creeping up on us, we decided to go ahead and order her a "big girl" bed. We want her to be comfortable in her new bed long before little sister gets here--that way she won't feel as if we are taking her crib and giving it to baby. This was also a gift for Nana, thanks Nana! Thanks to the snow, Neil has an unexpected afternoon off, and decided to put everything together.
Hadley helped Daddy put everything together. As soon as we got her sheets on she jumped right in! It took all of 3 seconds to request a blanket, bear, book, baby, and anything else she could think of. Although it was 4:00, she informed us that she was ready for night night. I'm really hope this transition will be as easy tonight when she actually has to sleep in the "Big Girl" bed.

There is something about seeing them for the first time in that big girl bed! It breaks your heart just a little bit.
