Hadley had her 12 month check up on Tuesday. It was a little bit after her 1st birthday but her original appointment was canceled by her doctor and we couldn't get in until after we got back from Keystone.
Here are the stats:
21lbs.9oz. (50 %)
31 inches tall (95%)
And I can never remember the head, it was 'normal' anyway.
So she is a super tall girl right now! But her doc said that really doesn't mean she'll be a tall adult, he guessed that she'll be about 5'5".
She is either a major social butterfly or she just doesn't love us anymore. In the airport she kept running up to strangers and putting her arms out for them to hold her. She really likes certain people, she'll give out hugs and cheeky smiles by the loads. She is still weary of some people though, which is good.
She is talking up a storm too! And by talking I mean "Bah ma ma ba ba taaaaaa shhoom" but she means every word. She does say a few things that we can properly translate, like "baby" and "ball." She is working hard on "shoes" which sounds more like "shhhhhssssss" and "bear" which sounds like "behhh." It's all extremely adorable and amazingly great and so much better then every other kid in the world, :)
We also found that she had an ear infection on Tuesday. I knew something was up because she woke up at 5 a.m. and was super cranky. Her doc prescribed some ear numbing drops in addition to the antibiotics which seem to be helping.
Well, that is it for now. I have some more posts coming with a few pictures from Keystone and our trip to the zoo.
Here she is on the way home, you can definitely tell she was NOT feeling well.
