A Valentine's Vampire Kiss

So Hadley's Friday Mother's Day Out program had a Valentine's Day Party for all the kids. We brought treats and little valentines for all the kids in her class. I got her all dressed up in Valentine's day colors as well. Let's just say, I was a little too excited about this!

Anyhoo, I went to pick her up this afternoon to find out that she received her first kiss from a boy...vampire style. Apparently Little Timmy* (names have been changed for protection and because I don't know them) was giving Hadley a big smackaroo on the cheek...which apparently led to a big BITE on her cheek.

The mom met me at the door and was practically in tears apologizing for her son. Next came the directors and teachers who must have said how sorry they were at least 20 times. I, surprisingly, did not freak out. They are just babies, he didn't know what he was doing. Just last week Hadley was playing with another little girl and while I was sitting right there she was hit on the head with a toy that left a mark. It all happened so fast. I think they were ready for me to start screaming and swearing that I would take my kid out of their program. Anyway, it's still really sad to see my little girl with a big ol' bite mark of her face! Poor thing :( She has probably forgotten all about it and has been acting like her normal self since I picked her up.
