Today Hadley and I went on a guided tour of the Modern Art Museum in Fort Worth with a local group called "MetroMoms". The tour was specifically for moms and children so that we could tour the museum without feeling guilty about our crying babies and clunky strollers - great idea! Although I've been to the Modern several times, I've never had a guided tour with a docent. I have to say I appreciate and understand the art a great deal more because of our guide.
Hadley was really well behaved and though she fell asleep for a few minutes I think she enjoyed herself. The docent actually stopped mid sentence and said "Oh god she is just too adorable!" to Hadley, it was really sweet. Later in the day one of the organizers was telling me about an event for babies under 6 months - then she stopped herself and said - "oh wait your daughter's 8 months isn't she?" Ummm...No. Apparently Hadley is the same size as her 7 1/2 month old. =)
